ING Private Banking has been sponsoring golf since 2016. First as a sponsor and partner of the NGF, and now mainly by organising golf days throughout the year for its business relationships. This is fully in line with the private bank’s focus on personal attention. In addition, ING is known for its innovation. HUNT developed an activation that combines and reinforces these two characteristics.
The insight: every golfer has a different swing
Every golfer has a natural, personal line in their swing. It’s like a signature. Always different, but fundamentally the same. Unique every time, personal every time.
The solution: every customer gets their own golf signature
All ING Golf Days participants receive their own golf signature: the Swingnature. Cameras are used to record the swing. The swing path is then traced and recorded in its own unique form. Immediately after the golf day, the client receives their own Swingnature by email and a personal video analysis by Inder van Weerelt. And to top it all off, a few weeks later, the relationship manager shows up at the customer’s door with a personalised Titleist cap bearing the customer’s Swingnature. It doesn’t get much more personal than that.
The result: four times as many contacts and 600 brand ambassadors.
The activation takes place at all ING Golf Days in 2023, with a total of almost 600 guests. All these participants are experiencing how personal attention and innovation come together at ING Private Banking. Even better, thanks to the personalised cap with the ING Private Banking logo, they will also act as ambassadors for ING Private Banking during other rounds on the golf course.
